BRAIN 2010 Rainforest Retreat
This year the BRAIN workshop series will be held as a 'retreat' at Mt Glorious over the weekend of 6-7 November. The Retreat will offer a range of rainforest-themed workshops similar to the popular workshops held in 2009 but this time in a rainforest setting! There will also be talks, walks and the opportunity to mix with other rainforest enthusiasts. The weekend will be fully catered and dormitory accommodation for the Saturday night will be included in the cost of registration. Boombana Rainforest Circuit Plant List
Bill McDonald has compiled this list from Peter Young's Brisbane Forest Park survey and added what he could remember from the BRAIN 2009 Christmas walk. Of note, a small 'Rapanea' we saw on the eastern fringe was Myrsine angusta and the saprophytic orchid in the rainforest was Epipogium roseum. More>>
